About me

I'm a Belgian Sitecore solution architect / developer for Blastic and a 9 time Sitecore Technology MVP. I've been working with Sitecore since 2012, on several projects both small & large. It all started with some maintenance on a Sitecore 6.5 project. But got most of my early experience working on Sitecore 7.2 projects.

I just realized I'm starting to sound like a dinosaur right now! And I must admit, I'm starting to feel like one too. Those were the days... young, spiritful, no back-pain or other ailments. Anyway...

Sitecore 9 and 10 came along and together with a myriad of new Sitecore products of which I have most experience with Sitecore Content Hub.

Then Sitecore moved to the cloud with XM Cloud, now SitecoreAI: headless, SaaS, and with the Sitecore Marketplace extensible again. That's where most of my recent projects and blog posts are about.

Community

I always wanted to be active in the community, which is why I got involved in the Belgian Sitecore User Group, which started in 2014. The user group is on a break for now.

That involvement grew into SUGCON Europe: I joined the organization team in 2021, in the run-up to the 2022 Budapest edition, and I've been part of it ever since.

If you want to be part of the community and want to experience Sitecore to the fullest, be sure to either join as a speaker or come to our next event! Go to https://europe.sugcon.events/ for all information!

This blog

I needed a place to share my development experiences & struggles; so I started with a blog website in 2016.
